Front Blower Resistor Pack

Hi can anybody tell me where the fron blower resister pack is on a 2001 galaxy tdi..Cheers..

Try a search, there has been a detailed explanation of this in the last few week.

It's really easy. Basically you remove the glovebox lid - then look to the right and you will see the pack on the side of the heater blower. One Torx type screw and a connector later and that's that.

You need to remove the lower glove box, open it up till it wont open any more, on either side there are retaining hooks, unclip these and the glove box will open further, now you can see the hinge at the bottom, it's a simple job to pop the box out it and there's the heater unit :( as said earlier the resistor pack is located on the right hand side of the unit

Basic layout of the vehicle is the same under the skin, so the resistor pack hasnt moved very far as the heater unit is virtually the same one on both the Mk1's and Mk2's
